I read about a Doctor using Botox in one of the muscles of the eye to lift mild or micro ptosis: “In patients with mild or micro-ptosis, botulinum toxin application to the pre-tarsal orbicularis oculi muscle might be a suitable option for the management of small eyelid margin asymmetries” I’d like to know if this could be an option for me.

Answer: Lifting the brow Hello and thanks for your question. From the photos I can't make out a ptosis however Botox can be used to lift if injected in the correct areas. If you are looking for a significant lift then I would recommend an energy based device such as radiofrequency to lift and tighten. We get great results using a combination of radiofrequency and ultrasound which can be tailored to suit. I would advise seeking a face to face consult. Best wishes

Answer: Non-surgical brow lift There is no ptosis in the photograph provided. If you want a lateral brow lift done with Botox, you may safely proceed to do that. Just make sure you go to an expert. Good luck from New York City plastic surgery
