Have I torn my tummy tuck stitches when I vomited? ( 13 days post op)

Question

I am 2 week's post tummy tuck and i have unfortunately vomited. I instantly have a sharp pain on my left side ( between my belly button and side). I can pin point the exact area and there is a slight burning sensation, but i cannot see any leaks / lumps. With thanks T

I'm sorry to hear you were ill.  It's not possible to say whether or not your stitches were torn as a result of vomiting.  I encourage you to follow up with your surgeon for an evaluation.  Until that time rest the area.

are very rare but certainly can occur and your concerns are appreciated.  To find out if they have pulled through or broken, you must see your surgeon for an exam and check of the area of concern.  More likely than not, you may have pulled something but not disrupted the suture line but this can only be determined by an exam.
