I have a round face, and would like to know what procedures I can get to give me a more oval shape? I understand there is Botox that can be injected to the massager muscle, but is there anything more long term that can elongate my face as well-perhaps a chin implant to go along with it? I know of buccal fat removal as well, don't know if that will also benefit me in conjunction with the other procedures. I have attached 2 photos of my face and the 3rd is my desired fascial shape.

Answer: Narrower face Removal of buccal fat pad--definitely not. Botox injection into the masseter muscle- should be discussed with a live consultation. The easiest option at your age is to seek out a good make-up artist who can show you how to shadow your face to achieve the results you're looking for

Answer: Changing the shape of the face The photographs presented show a very natural and beautiful face that should probably be best left alone. In our practice we do not recommend buccal fat pad removal, because with the aging process in the face loses this fat anyway. A full set of facial photographs from all angles are required to make any determination about a chin implant, however chin implants are usually performed on patients who have a weak and recessive chin profile which does not appear to be the case.
