What kind of numbing cream should I use for my SMP?

Numbing creams do not work on thick scalp skin. You should ask your doctor about anesthesia as each doctor may have their own recommendations. 

Check with your practitioner before applying anything.  In our office we offer injected local anesthesia for those who request it, though most people do fine without having it done.  

We use xylocaine for Scalp Micropigmentation as numbing creams will not last the duration of the procedure for that day
