Good day, I am going to make scalp micropigmentation and i checked the materials safety date sheet and found substance called titanium dioxide number CI77891. I want ask if this is cancerous if exposed to the head? Thank you doctors!
I am a young woman and had FUT hair transplant for hairline lowering 1,5 years ago. The result is nearly perfect, but the only thing that bothers me is that in certain angles my scalp shines through the transplant area, because the hair is more sparse than my natural hair, my hair is dark and my skin super white. This does not bother me enough to go through another round of FUT, but I was wondering if I can have SMP on the hairline are where the grafts are?
I have been using minxidil twice a day for 2 months and i can already see some good results, now i want to do micropigmentation but i would have to stop using min for a week, also when i come back for touch ups i would have to stop using it for one more week. So that is more than 2 weeks in a month. Am i going to ruin the progress i made so far? Also the person who is doing the procedure said i should wait even longer to use min, 2 weeks after one procedure then again after touch ups 2 weeks
Hello I did Five sessions of SMP BUT i am so frustrated as it fades after two weeks only. After each session the procedure looks perfect but after one week, the dandruff comes out with the ink and it fades, i did five sessions till now and it is light not looks denser as i expected, my scalp is oily. I asked the artist he said my be the problem is from your scalp not from the artist, but i need an advice to make it fixed and i know the if there is any tips to make it good.
Hi, I hope you are doing well! I am wondering about the safety of scalp micropigmention. I know it should not damage the hair follicles since they are located deeper than where the SMP is injected. However, does having the SMP touch-ups (having the ink injected again once every few years) cause any damage to the scalp skin over time? Thank you!
I got an FUE hair transplant a year ago and they overharvested my donor area. I am curious if SMP would be a good way to camouflage it. I typically like to get a 1 guard faded up to a 2 on the sides, but I typically get a haircut every 3-4 weeks. In the photo its been 4 weeks since my last haircut with the 1 faded up to the 2 guard. My concern with SMP is that I hear it doesnt look good when the hair grows out. Thought if I just do it on the donor area? Also, what are other long term cons?
