Thank you for your question. I would recommend you to start off with a hyaluronic acid based filler. I would advise you to schedule a consultation with a board certified expert injector for a detailed examination to discuss all possible treatment options and what your expectations are.
I would start with a HA acid filler. Depending how adherent the scar is, you may do better with Bellotero that flows better than a thicker HA. If you like how your lip looks, you can have a more lasting non-silicone implant. A consultation would help with many of your additional questions.Sincerely, Dr. Michael Kulick ASPS, ASAPS memberSan Francisco Ca.
Thank you for your question! I prefer Restylane Refyne in the philtral columns for added definition. Be sure to see an experience injector for a proper consultation and best of luck!
Thank you so much for your question! I typically recommend hyaluronic acid filler to add height to the philtral columns, particularly in the case of asymmetry. I recommend scheduling an appointment with a physician who specializes in aesthetics for a thorough evaluation to determine which hyaluronic acid would be most appropriate for your treatment. I hope this helps!
The philtrum is a thin fine area above the upper lip (the ski slopes). It is best filled with a fine hyaluronic acid based filler such as Juvederm Volbella or Ultra, or Restylane Silk. As we get older, these 2 columns typically flatten, so filling them makes the area look more youthful, and improves the shape of the upper lip as well.
Practically any hyaluronic acid filler can be used to restore flattened out philtral columns. Juvederm, Restylane, Restylane Lyft can all be used for such a purpose. Restoring philtral column contributes greatly to the rejuvenation of the face even though it's such a small thing. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
Hi akgettingbetter, yes, you can still safely get filler injections with periorbital veins present. At our San Francisco office, we use a microcannula for all under eye injections, this helps minimize the chance of bruising and makes the patient more comfortable. We recommend seeing a d...
Hi @lhmeacham. You can add some volume in the area to reduce the line while you smile. Another option would be Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional...
HelloThe fillers would be great choice to improve the dents. Having said that, need to be careful about the scars around the surgical area. See an Expert for formal evaluationBest
