Feeling like there's bubbles/air in my stomach after sucking out the hematoma

It may take a week or so for the air to reabsorb. Hang in there! As long as the pain, swelling and scars are improving week to week, however slowly, there is still hope for the final outcome. Ask you plastic surgeon if there are any compression garments, stretches or massaging exercises that can help speed your recovery.

Thank you for your question.  The hematoma formed a small pocket under your skin that when sucked out left air in your tissues.  As your skin heals, it will seal this area off and the bubble sensation will disappear.  This normally occurs within 1-2 weeks depending on the size of the pocket.  Hang in there and keep your surgeon informed of any changes.  

Thanks for your question, unfortunately hematomas can and do happen. There is a chance a little air entered the tissues during the cleaning up of the hematoma, and that will improve quickly. As small areas of residual bruising or blood break down those areas will pull a little fluid into them before they shrink down so don't be surprised if you have some little irregular swelling zones while healing, that's normal in this setting and gets better as time goes by. Keep in touch with your plastic surgeon as this evolve so they can reassure you as you get better. Best wishes.
