Dear piojitoMost gallbladder surgery is performed through small incisions and that should be very safe at this stage. best of luck with your surgery.
It should not be a problem to have your gallbladder removed after a tummy tuck. Hopefully they can do it laparoscopically so you have less scars. My best,Sheila Nazarian
At three months post op you should be fine. A call to your plastic surgeon would be a good idea. The operation to remove your gall bladder is almost always done laparoscopically so you should have minimal scar issues. I would advise you to be proactive about getting your plastic surgeon involved however. They do not necessarily need to be there for the operation but it may benefit you to give your plastic surgeon the option of speaking with your general surgeon. Good luck!
is done routinely around the world. You must let your general surgeon know of the procedures you've had so he/she can be best prepared for choosing access sites for her instruments. If you are not having symptoms (the presence of stones alone does not mean your gall bladder must come out right away), you can certainly wait on this and delay your surgery if you desire.
I am sorry to hear about the problem you are having with gallstones. You should be able to undergo cholecystectomy, despite having undergone the previous tummy tuck surgery. Obviously you will want to let your general surgeon know of your past surgical history. He/she will potentially change their approach depending on the presence of scar tissue. Best wishes.

I haven't had any general surgeons come back and say the procedure was not able to be done because of a tummy tuck in the prior few months. Good luck with your impending surgery.
We can talk about technical details of the operation, but it's of little importance at this point. An issue that has not been raised by my colleagues is how much visceral fat you have in your abdomen. If the abdominal wall is tight due to intra-abdominal contents, tightening it further will not...

I think it is best to prepare for a “recovery” of at least 3-4 weeks after tummy tuck surgery. Descriptions of recovery times shorter than this, in my opinion, is over-promising.I do have another word of advice for you. Patients who are about to undergo tummy tuck surgery spend a lot of tim...
