Can a facelift address my enlarged pores due to a peel? (Photo)

A facelift will temporarily improve your pores due to skin tension but this will relax after a few months.  Other treatments done directly on your skin would be more beneficial.  

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately a facelift is not the proper procedure to address enlarged pores. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a facial plastic surgeon who can take a look and make a recommendation in person. I know that you said you are not interested in laser treatments, although these are often very beneficial for patients looking to improve skin quality and appearance and offer a tightening effect. 

In general, facelift does not change pores size. Since you are only 31, you are not a good candidate for a facelift. I recommend you to get Vivace, micro-needling with radiofrequency treatment that would help your pores size and tightens you loose skin.

In general, pore size is not affected by facelift surgery. Yes, it tightens the skin, but the skin relaxes and the surface texture, especially pore size, usually remains the same. At your age, I would not recommend a facelift, but it may be a good option in 10-20 years. 

A facelift will not help with enlarged pores, due to a peel or any other cause.  A treatment that addresses the surface of the skin would be needed.  Options would include laser or radio frequency micro needling (Fractora).  

I have had many patients with ice pick acne scars , large pores and other facial skin abnormalities. If there are ice pick deep scars or pores , micro dissection and repair of the individual pores can be done by a skilled plastic surgeon. LASER can blast your skin into submission. Dermabrasion in the hands of a skilled plastic surgeon could help as well. I would wait until you are a little older , age 40 to seriously consider a face lift. Make up is probably your easiest application for a quick fix. Derma blend can help. Good luck...

The facelift will not make your pore better.  What you can accomplish by pulling on your face with your fingers is often not reproduced by any surgery.  I unfortunately see and have to manage young people in their twenties and thirties who have complications after getting unnecessary facelifts.  Don't burn down the house because one of the rooms needs to be painted.  One of the best treatment for pore size is fotofacial.  These services are mild and done properly, are not likely to cause harm. Look for a board certified dermatologist for this type of help.  Please be careful what you look for as you might find it.

lifting will not remove them.  Consider some form of microneedling to help provide you a smoother surface.  Fractional lasers will work too but are a little more invasive and you've already stated you will not do that.  Dermabrasion will also work but its pretty messy.

A facelift will not change your large pores. A Halo laser will help improve the texture of your skin to shrink the pores that bother you. There's not a lot of downtime and it helps make your skin feel refreshed.
