Ok to do a Clear and Brilliant treatment a week after micropen treatment for acne scars?

Wondering if it's ok to do a clear and brilliant treatment a week after micropen treatment or should space farther apart to let skin heal, trying to treat acne scars. Thank you!

In general, these treatments can definitely be combined. Whether or not to have them done on the same day or days/weeks apart depends on your goal, your desired downtime, and the reason for the treatment. In the case of acne scars, more aggressive multimodal approach is necessary. So in your case, the answer is yes they can definitely be performed a week apart or sooner.

This should be fine. In our practice, we perform these treatments on the same day. Keep in mind, scarring needs a combination approach. I recommend lasers, microneedling/prp, subcision and fillers. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Clear and Brilliant laser treatment can be done a week after microneedling but if you are treating acne scars, you might be a candidate for Fraxel laser which is a more aggressive laser for scarring than Clear and Brilliant.
