Is a sub brow lift a solution for ptosis, or should I consider a muscle levator procedure?
Answer: Brow I would recommend an upper eyelid blepharoplasty with a possible levator advancement. For a male, your brow is in a relatively good position. Pictures are never an adequate replacement for a good physical exam. I recommend seeing a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in facial surgery.

Answer: Brow lift or upper blepharoplasty Only on the basis of in person evaluation a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in brow lift and blepharoplasty would be able to decide which of the two procedure would be a better option in your case, or both. Good luck.

Answer: Upper blepharoplasty You need to be examined in person. You would benefit from an upper blepharoplasty. A browlift would not be helpful. You may not need a levator procedure. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Ptosis I'm not sure you actually have ptosis, although it is hard to tell because of the angles of your photos (like the 2nd photo you are very obviously looking down so that gives the illusion of having lower eyelids). If you have true eyelid ptosis, then the muscle procedure is what you need and a browlift will NOT correct what you are bothered by. However, if it is a matter of just excess skin hanging down, then a brow lift can absolutely help.

Answer: Brow Lifts do not correct upper eyelid ptosis A brow lift repositions the brow at the orbital rim in men and just above the orbital rim in women, it will not address a true upper eyelid ptosis. When you see your Facial Plastic or Oculoplastic Surgeon they should evaluate the brow position, upper eyelids, and the upper eyelid position (ptosis or a true levator issue) in order to determine which surgery or combination of surgeries will give you the most natural results.
