First time Botox 2 weeks ago. 4 hours after injection stomach turned, an urge to vomit for several hours came. Took and still taking Zofran for nausea. Weight loss, only smoothies/crackers/soup. I am healthy 43 y/o female, exercise regularly, live a clean lifestyle no drinking, smoking, coffee, etc. In rare cases I have read these side effects can last some time. Can anyone suggest how long it will last? What underlying condition can I look into, considering the side effects I am having.

Answer: Is this a reaction to Botox? Thank you for sharing your question. It is very unlikely that you are experiencing a reaction to BOTOX, especially so many days following your treatment. Make an appointment with your doctor for evaluation. Good luck,

Answer: Botox side effects typically dissipate soon after injections Your symptoms are unlikely related to your injections at this point. While nausea is an uncommon side effect of botox injections, these symptoms typically present within the immediate aftermath of the injections and dissipate soon thereafter. I cannot imagine a mechanism by which botox injections into the muscles of the upper face would cause these lingering symptoms. Your nausea and constipation may be caused by a more serious condition, and you should speak with your primary care physician about possible causes.
