A mini-lift can be almost anything from a minimal amount of skin removed around the ear to a reasonable procedure but with less extensive undermining or incision. When done by someone who is truly experienced, the QuickLift (a branded procedure) is the latter. This is a procedure similar to the MACS Lift, which when done by an experienced surgeon, is an excellent procedure. Because the QuickLift is branded and there is no real oversight of the people doing the procedure you need to be very careful who the surgeon is.
Facelift Surgeons use all kinds of names for various types of facelifts, so there's no way to tell what this particular named facelift does. If you have "jowls" this is sagging facial tissues and an indication for some form of a facelift. The underlying SMAS layer, of the face, must be dissected, lifted, trimmed and re-sutured. The excess skin is then removed and the facelift incisions closed. My most popular facelift is the minimally invasive, short incision facelift that has all the benefits of more invasive facelifts (traditional, mid-face and subperiosteal facelifts) but with these added benefits:very small incisionsminimal tissue dissection = less bruising and swelling = rapid recoverycan be performed in 90 minutes or less, with or without general anesthesiano incisions within the hair = no hair lossexcess fat can be removedexcess skin removedcheeks, chin and jaw line can be augmented with dermal fillers (I prefer Perlane) or facial implantsmost patients fly back home to parts all over the world in as little as 3 days post-opHope this helps.
