dear Patient: thanks for your question! I get this question a lot in my practice. Thr answer is YES! It is absolutely safe to have both procedures done together, and its actually benefitial for the patient, since 1) The recovery for the Tummy Tuck, which is a little more tedious, would take care of the labiaplasty recovery 2) The cost of combining the two procedures together will save you significant money, since you are already under general anesthesia for the Tummy Tuck, thus the Labiaplasty will cost you half or less than if you had it done alone. The most important factor to take into consideration would be to choose your Plastic Surgeon accordingly. Make surre he is 1) Board Certified by the Academy of Plastic Surgery BAPS 2) Member American Society for Plastic Surgeons ASPS 3) Fellow Academy College of Surgeons FACS 4) Member American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery ASAPS Also, your surgeon should listen to what your aesthetic goals are, and explain to you all the risks and complications, and your should both agree on realistic expectations of your Procedures!
