"Pimple” like bump on my lip 2 weeks after filler. Any idea what this could be?

It has been two weeks since I had fillers. It is still stiff and a bit lumpy on the bottom but seems to be healing properly. Two or three days ago I started to notice a “pimple” had formed on my lip and there is black on the tip of it but it seems to be inside of the pimple. Any ideas on what this would be? It also feels like a pimple and hurt but is no longer hurting.

0.5 cc is a very small amount of filler and most patients prefer a bit more. However, your lips look great in the photos you posted and I recommend you setup a consultation with an experienced injector to discuss your options. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. The lines you are describing should go away as the swelling goes down and as the product gets broken down. If it really bothers you, you can have the product dissolved.

Thank you for your question. There can be some swelling and/or lumps after lip injections which can last 1-2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers on the lips for a few days, for 5 mins a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. If you're unhappy with ...
