Hi there, I already told my doctor I'm currently on BC and he didn't give me any special instructions. Moreover, birth control isn't mentioned in the list of medication to avoid. However, i'm reading that many women are encouraged to stop birth control before surgery. My doctor's office is closed until the evening of the surgery so I can't really clarify if I should take my ring out. Please let me know what you all think. Best wishes.
