Many patients look good enough to return to all normal activities within one week, but low-grade swelling resolves slowly over months. Liposculpture of the face is not a physically disabling procedure. Routine fat removal should need no supplemental treatments to "speed healing" or to improve the result, but if problems develop, which they might after any procedure, additional or different therapy may be indicated.
