Can I still have forehead reduction surgery with a widows peak? (photo)

Hello, I’ve always had a giant forehead. Thanks dad. Anyways, I’ve started looking into options for forehead reduction and noticed that all the reviews and photos I see are women without a widows peak. Is it possible to have the surgical reduction with a widows peak? I have attached a photo. I would prefer the surgical technique

Forehead reduction while maintaining the widows peak. I have done more than 2000 of these, Irregular Trichophytic Forehead Lifts, since inventing it! I have done patients who want to retain the widows peak and those that want it removed with equal excellent results. Make sure you see the actual hairline results switch the hair pulled back and no visible scar.

Hi there! Thanks for the great question and your photo. Yes, you can have hairline lowering surgery with a small widow's peak like I see in the photo. The key thing for hairline lowering (a.k.a. forehead reduction) is that most of the need for hair coverage should be in the central forehead rather than the temples. If you needed additional coverage after the lowering procedure, a small amount of hair grafts can be used to fill in or add density. Best of luck moving forward!

Yes, you can choose to either maintain or eliminate your widows peak with a hairline lowering.  Just discuss this with your surgeon and they will be able to accommodate you either way.
