Hello, I am a 30 year old African American woman with traction alopecia. I’ve had this since I was a child, as my scalp has already scarred over. On both my left and right temple area, there’s is about 1” x 4” of baldness. I would like to know my best option for surgery, as I would also like a forehead reduction. Is it possible to lower the hairline and cover this much hair loss; or would I need both the reduction and hair grafting? Thank you.
