Is there a way to fix my split tragus? (photo)

7 years ago I got my tragus pierced but it was done too close to the edge, so it randomly came out one day after I got out of the shower. It healed, but left this little cleft. Is there a way to fix this?

Hello! Yes, there is a way to fix this! Under local anesthesia, small flaps of tissue can be rearranged in that area to improve the appearance.

thank you for posting your picture. A reconstruction adjusting all layers, cartiladge, skin will significantly improve the current appearance. This can be easily done as an in office procedure under local anesthesia.

Absolutely that scar can be revised. A thorough examination is necessary but after that it should be pretty straightforward process to even do in the office.

Yes, the cleft in the cartilage can be repaired and the scar can be revised. If this is followed with fractional laser resurfacing you can expect a significant improvement in the cleft. Best.
