How much does a BBL cost in Tijuana?

Dear Patient:  costs of BBL procedures vary depending on the patient's needs, and where we will graft the needed fat to sculpt the patient's buttocks.  In San Diego a BBL would range from $5,000 up, again depending on the specific needs of each patient.  In my practice I usually evaluate where I will be grafting the Fat from (areas where I would perform Liposuction) Most common areas to graft fat from are: abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs, lower and upper back and arms.  If a patient has large deposits of fat in one or two areas, then the BBL procedure will be less costly, if the surgeon needs to graft fat from more than two areas, that's when it starts getting pricier since there are longer times in the operating room and board certified anesthesiologists fees as well (those would be costs the plastic surgeon needs to have covered)  If the patient needs large volume of liposuction (this comes with larger patients) , it gets a little more expensive as well since you need to have more time in the Operating Room, and more time under general anesthesia.I would recommend any patient evaluating getting a BBL procedure, to not take price as their first determinant in choosing a Plastic Surgeon but make sure your Plastic Surgeon is Board Certified and that the facility you will be having the procedure at is AAAASF certified, to assure you will have a Board Certified Anesthesiologist at your side throughout the entire procedure.  I would also go to several consults and communicate your goals to your plastic surgeon and make sure you both agree on realistic expectations always taking your safety as priority!Hope this helps!Ron Soltero, MD, FACSBoard Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (member ASPS and ASAPS)

It is difficult to give you an exact quote. The cost varies between patients, as some may just need a couple of areas for liposuction and the fat transferred to the buttocks, some other patients may want or need more than a couple of areas of liposuction. You will need a consultation in person, to check if you are a good candidate for the procedure, also to discuss your goals, medical history to see if your health condition is ok for the procedure. I caution you against using price as the way of choosing your surgeon. Find an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon to perform your Brazilian butt lift.  Keep in mind that it is a very time consuming and specialized procedure when done correctly. The least expensive surgery is one that is done correctly the first time. Going cheap on your first surgery may cost you more in the long run if you need a revision by an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in gluteal augmentation. Look at your surgeon's before and after photos before you make decision. Some patients unfortunately resort to going to other countries because of the lure of cheap surgery. However, medical tourism is fraught with problems. What if you develop a complication? How are the emergency services in the area you would choose to go to? How will you see your doctor for post operative visits or see them for frequently if necessary? Consider using a line of credit and having the best and safest surgery possible.
