The quality of your buttock skin should not change very much due to a fat transfer to the buttock area. If your skin has cellulite before surgery, then it will have cellulite after surgery. The fat generally is injected fairly deep and not superficially to avoid these "dents and dimples". Consult with a few plastic surgeons experienced with this procedure to determine if you are a good candidate.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
It would be very hard to predict who may have this kind of problem after BBL. In general, I would say that patient that have propensity to "dents" and "cottage cheese" deformities over their thighs and buttocks may continue to have it after BBL. We do not know for sure (it will take many years and many thousands of women to study) but is unlikely that this deformity will occur only because of fat grafting.
No likely. I have not seen it happen on my 3 year follow ups. These dents could be more related to genetics or predisposing factors.Ron Hazani, MD
Great question. In general, fat transfer to the buttocks (BBL) should not give you any additional indentations or cellulite as you age. This miay depend on skin quality and muscle tone and genetics associated with the ligaments that attach the skin to the buttocks muscle. The real answer is that it will likely vary but we do not have good ways to know how these factors play out and how they can be measured. All the best,Dr Remus Repta
Typically, no, BBL should not give you dimples or dents as you age. In that we are transferring fat from one location to another on your body, if the injections are uneven, or if some fat dies in any given area, dents or dimples may form but this should be evident within weeks to months after surgery. Cellulite, however, which is caused by ligaments retracting the skin, is a wholly separate issue that is best treated, and best corrected, with Cellfina.
Thank you for your question.I would caution anyone to think that they need a cosmetic plastic surgery procedure "ASAP." This is not a decision that should be taken lightly and you should do plenty of thinking, research, and take the time to find the right surgeon for you before proceeding with...
It is just a term. Lipo is lipo. How aggressive one is, depends upon the goals of surgery and the quality of the tissues.
Thank you for your question. The cost varies depending the surgeon and the location. My recommendation is to be consulted by board certified plastic surgeon, specialized in Body Contour, who knows individualize each patient to give you the better advice. Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Your question is a very good one. There are companies that provide insurance for complications that arise out of having plastic surgery. Many plastic surgeons provide this as part of surgery. Sometimes patients will pay the premium for this insurance. Sometimes the...

Hello dear! Thanks for the pictures and provided information as well. Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for liposuction with a BBL and a tummy tuck, to give you a nice tight tummy and to get rid of the extra skin, and I think you'll get very good results. Liposuction allows your...
