Hi, I am 23 years old and always had those bags under my eyes and worst, a long line/crease which goes until my upper cheeks area. what would bw the best way to get rid of them? I understand that fillers can help but I am looking for a longer term solution. Would Ultherapy also help? Looking forward to hearing your answers. Thank you!
Answer: Stay away from energy devices, think volume replacement Ulthera and energy devices are likely to hollow your face further, something that you will regret. I treat patients with findings like your with a technique that I call Aesthetic Facial Balancing. I use long lasting fillers or your body's own fat to reshape the face and make the bags disappear. This is the most effective strategy in a young patient like you! I hope this helps! All the best,Rian A. Maercks M.D.

Answer: A great option would be to do Morpheus8 to reduce appearance of saggy skin and fine lines Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Bags under eyes Dear lanalou001,Wrinkles and/or bags under the eyes is the number one complaint of may people as we age. To treat the area, it requires an experienced clinician and multimodal therapy based on severity. Sometimes surgery is the answer, other times a light filler with a peel or laser will do the trick. If you are considering a treatment, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Dark Circles/Eye Bags/Wrinkles -- Fillers Belotero, Juvederm Volbella; Laser Like Fraxel/Co2/J Plasma; Microneedling/PRP; Peels A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer
