I noticed that my left eye is slightly more closed than my right. You can tell by looking at my top eyelids. It’s really bothersome and I wanted to know if this should go away on its own or if it’s more serious than it seems?

Your left eyelid is likely still a little swollen.  I would certainly wait for a couple of months before considering any operative intervention.  The lip margins relative to your pupil are equal and in reasonably position so the problem is not ptosis.  There are few other minor asymmetries of your eyes which is normal.  Since this is not noticeable and bothersome to you it is likely the only new problem and I expect it will resolve with time.

several things are going on.  Your right eyebrow in lower than the left allowing more upper eyelid skin to hang over the supra tarsal crease on your right upper.  The lid margins on both uppers are at the same level at the top of the pupils on each side so I don't think you have true ptosis.  your right lower lid is lower than the left with slight scleral show ( right ).  this may or may not cause a functional dry eye.  I suggest a consult with your ophthamologist as dry eye can result in corneal problems which can be serious.

Viral pink eye may last for 6 weeks and cause substantial swelling. It would be wise to follow the eyelid position for 3-6 months to see if it improves spontaneously. If not, then I would advise seeing an oculoplastic surgeon in your area for evaluation and recommendations. Avoid rubbing the eyes as this could worsen the ptosis. Best wishes.
