I noticed that my left eye is slightly more closed than my right. You can tell by looking at my top eyelids. It’s really bothersome and I wanted to know if this should go away on its own or if it’s more serious than it seems?

Eye asymmetry can be due to many causes. You are tilting your head in the photo so that will eyes look unbalanced too. See an oculoplastic specialist for evaluation. See following video.
