Thank you for your question. Light weight glasses that rest on the bridge of the nose should not adversely affect the viability of fat placed in the lower eyelid region. The one caveat is if your surgeon uses fat in the naso-jugal groove (junction between nose and cheek/lower eyelid region) to help blend in the lower eyelid augmentation, in which case the pressure from the glasses might cause displacement of the fat in this region. Consultation with the surgeon performing the procedure regarding specific post-operative restrictions is encouraged.
There should be no problem wearing sunglasses after fat grafting under the eyes. Just make sure the eyepieces or rims are not pressing down directly on the areas treated. Ice and follow your surgeons instructions on aftercare. Good luck.
Yes, it should be fine to wear sunglasses after your procedure. I recommend following up with your Doctor about after care protocols for fat transfer. Swelling can last 3-6 months after fat transfer. Prednisone, icing, ibuprofen and venus legacy treatments can give improvement. I recommend prp after your procedure to improve final results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Hi, None of the things you listed - stress, anxiety, prolonged time in front of the computer, make-up - should not effect the blood flow to the under eye area and lead to loss of the fat grafts. Stress, anxiety, and lack of sleep can lead to puffiness under the eyes, which may effect the...
Lumps after properly performed fat transferred are exceedingly rare and should be easy to managed. Without pre-op photos to compare your present result I can not comment.
Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. In some patients, fat grafting can be performed in this area to improve a mental crease. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this ...
