Thank you for your question and sharing your photos. I am sorry that you have been under so much stress. I think you are beautiful, and your look can be freshened with less invasive procedures such as fat transfer or injectables and/or nonsurgical skin tightening. I would recommend consultation with a facial plastic surgeon to discuss what option is best for you."This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion. Seek in-person treatment with a trained medical professional for appropriate care."
I guess the best answer is to see a board certified plastic surgeon and discuss non surgical as well as surgical options with you. #minifacelift#facelift
Everyone ages at different rates depending on life experiences. A mini lift would rejuvenate your face nicely with minimal downtime.
Ultimately, a surgical face lift provides the best contouring for someone with moderate or severe laxity. This procedure could include tightening your underlying musculature to give you a better contour and also removing the excess skin laxity. Together this allows for a much better face and neck contour. In some instances, some liposuction is also beneficial to reduce the submental fullness. However, there are effective non-surgical options for you. I would recommend Ulthera if you are looking for something with no downtime, or Profound if you could tolerate some downtime. Ulthera is an ultrasound based energy that heats the underlying tissue and stimulates collagen in response. Profound is a radio frequency microneedling device that allows for the creation of Elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid and hence restores some of the lost elasticity in the face. It has more visible downtime with the possibility of some swelling and bruising that diminishes in about a weeks time.I would visit with a board certified plastic surgeon who has the portfolio of non-surgical options in your area who can help explain the treatment options for you and the limitations of each option, both surgical and non-surgical.
YOU ARE TOO YOUNG TO HAVE A FACELIFT AND YOU WOULD BENEFIT FROM FILLERS. YOU NEED TO SPEAK TO A PLASTIC SURGEON AND HAVE THEM SEE WHICH FILLERS WOULD BE BETTER SUCH AS VOLUMA WHICH ADDS A LOT OF VOLUME TO THE FACE.
You sound stressed. Your facial appearance is a reflection of your emotional well being. You don't have signs of ageing that are amenable to surgery based on the photo you supplied. My advice is to address the areas of your life that are stressing you. Surgery will not help. Seek counseling to help you deal with the stress you have. When settled I am sure ou will have the face you desire. All the Best,Dr. JA. Dean Jabs M.D. Ph.D. FACSBoard Certified Plastic SurgeonBethesda MD/McLean VA
At your age I think you would be best served with injectable fillers or autologous fat grafting. Generally if you do not like the appearance of people that have been injected with fillers, you have not seen patients that have been injected well. The sign of a good filler injection is that it looks Natural! Seek out a board-certified plastic surgeon to explore these options.
Hi traceyenorton10,Thanks for your question.Darn autocorrect, huh!?Seriously though, you are quite young for a facelift. Stress can show on your face and for you it shows primarily in the quality of your skin and the tiredness around your eyes. You don't show much sag to justify facelift surgery. What may be of help is to find a med spa in your area where you can treat yourself to some medical facials along with Botox to your "11's" and some filler in your cheeks and tear troughs to plump them up a bit.Skin that looks bright and plump is a sign of youth.Reducing that angry/stressed look to your eyes will send a message that you are rested.Volume to your cheeks will draw peoples' eyes upward to look you directly in your eyes.Outside of this I would recommend getting enough sleep, drinking lots of water, and eating a nutritious diet.I hope this was helpful.Thanks,Dr. Shah
Hello, Thankyou for your question. A facelift is designed to remove excess skin andreposition deeper tissues for a smoother, firmer contour. Based on your goals, you may want to consider a dermal filler and/ or Botox.Injected dermal filler focus on restoring volume and rejuvenating the lookof your features. Botox works by weakening the muscles that cause wrinkles.I'drecommend booking a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon todetermine what your options would be. Takecare.
Fillers and Botox or related products would be the best start for you Tracy. Often this is just the help you need to look and feel your best. Stress can do some awful things to the face but fortunately there are a number of great options these days. Look for a facial plastic specialist with lots of experience who makes you feel comfortable. This is not the time to look for a 'deal' - start with the best of the best.
The healing process in general can take up to one month for the majority of swelling to subside, incisions to close, sutures to come out, and for bruising to completely go away. #Recovery time from a #facelift varies from person to person, but patients can generally expect to be presentable...
Thanks for the question. You should be able to go on vacation by 3-4 weeks after your surgery. But this is valid only with assuming postoperative recovery is uneventful. If any unexpected incident happens in your treatment process, this time can be extended or shortened. I wish you all the best.
