Is it okay to have dental cleaning 2 days before Vaser Chin/Neck Lipo?

I have a dental appointment 2 days before my chin Lipo. I’m not sure if they will only need to perform regular teeth cleaning or will need a deep cleaning.

In general, having a regular dental cleaning two days before your Vaser procedure should not pose a problem, especially if it is just a routine cleaning. However, if you require a deep cleaning or any invasive dental work that could potentially cause gum irritation or introduce bacteria into the bloodstream, it may be advisable to reschedule either the dental appointment or the surgery.

Dental procedures that involve deep cleaning can sometimes cause minor infections, which could increase the risk of complications during your surgery. Always inform both your dentist and plastic surgeon about the timing of your appointments so they can guide you appropriately.

Overall, I would not recommend any dental procedure very close to a surgical procedure. However, in your case, with a benign dental cleaning and simple neck Lipo, the risk of any infection is extremely low. Risky procedures would be if you were getting dental work for an actual infection and if you were having surgery soon after that involved any implant.
