Is High-def lipo reversible? (Photo)

Question

April 2023, I had lipo 360, high-definition liposuction. I never cared for it but since the Dr said I was a good candidate I went for it. I guess it was to charge more money.. I try hard to like it but just hate it. The abs don’t fit my body.. and towards the bottom of it, it looks more like a tummy pouch.Even after swelling went down they don’t look right. I want to know if it’s possible to get them removed? Would it be regular lipo to get them off? Or at least make it look normal

Based on the photos you posted, it looks like more lipo would be the most helpful thing to do. Either the surgeon wasn't thorough with the lipo originally, or you gained weight after the hi-Def lipo procedure. We see this a lot, and more lipo usually improves it dramatically.

Yes, it is possible. If the high-definition etching appears too pronounced or doesn’t match your natural body contours, there is option to soften or revise the look. Liposuction Revision; Vaser liposuction can be used to smooth out the etched lines and reduce exaggerated contours, especially around the "tummy pouch" area. Revision liposuction is typically less invasive than the original 360 lipo and focuses on evening out uneven areas. Downtime is usually shorter, and results are seen as swelling subsides over a few weeks. It seems like the VASER Hi-Def was focused mainly on the linea alba (the central lines of the abdomen) while leaving surrounding areas with excess fat, which may be why the results don’t match your expectations.

If you haven’t experienced weight gain post-procedure, the uneven fat distribution could be due to an incomplete treatment. In this case, I would recommend a revision VASER Hi-Def liposuction to better contour the central abdomen and pouch for more balanced and natural-looking results. Another round of liposuction can help remove the remaining fat and give you the smoother, tighter look you desire.

If weight gain is a factor, losing weight before considering revision liposuction could improve your results significantly as well. Revision VASER liposuction could then refine the areas left untreated.

Hello; high definition Liposuction; it is applied on people; who do for sports, have low fat and high skin quality. The aim is; in order to reduce for all abdominal fat; from areas on muscle lines; by performing intense Liposuction; is for decreasing fat and make muscles visible. Unfortunately, high def. for liposuction; you weren't the right fit from the beginning. In your current state, to reduce fat; for Vaserlipo and tightening loose skin; I recommend for Renuvion J Plasma methods.

A revision liposuction can reduce those areas, usually Vaser ultrasound to help with scar tissue and skin tightening.

Some of the deep inscriptions and umbilical shape may persist.

I’m not at all a fan of high definition Liposuction, a.k.a. etching.
This technique has been promoted by a certain plastic surgeon from South America.
I think the concept is incorrect and leaves too many people permanently disfigured.
In reality, there are very few people who are good candidates for high definition work and even people who are good candidates when they’re young will have changes to their body making the procedure look unnatural and potentially ridiculous as they age.
Unfortunately This procedure is about as reversible as a full body tattoo.
Attempting to reverse previous high definition, Liposuction with fat transfer tends to not work well because the areas that need volume replacement have no “host tissue” to support the grafted fat leading to fat graft failure.
Your surgeon didn’t do you a favor.
Delivering consistent quality Liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize.
The number of plastic surgeons who mastered this kind of work is relatively low.
Before considering this type of work as each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own.
 Being shown a handful of pre-selected images representing the best results of a providers career may be insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like and the hands of each provider.
And experience provider should have access to hundreds or preferably thousands of before, and after pictures to choose from.
 I recommend patient be more selective than they may think necessary for permanent irreversible body contouring procedures like liposuction.
