2.5 years post Rhinoplasty. Subcutaneous scar tissue requiring steroid injections since 1 year. Should I opt for co2 lasers?

I am 2.5 years post rhinoplasty (open). My surgeon treated the subcutaneous scar tissue with kenalog inj but the effect stays for few days and the scar tissue reappears making the tip bulbous again. I do get to see the shape which I wanted after the kenalog inj but in a few days the scar tissue grows and the need for another inj ensues. Now, my surgeon recommends co2 lasers. I am not sure owing to its side effects. P.s only tip work was done. Alar cartilage and bony framework was not touched.
