I want to use resorcinol but am currently using hydroquinone. How long of a break is needed between the two?

I have been using hydroquinone 2% (brand name Ambi) to fade sunspots. I would like to get a Jessner Peel but it contains resorcinol. How long should I discontinue using hydroquinone before getting the peel? Thank you

Thank you for your question. We typically advise patients to discontinue use of hydroquinone one week prior to receiving the chemical peel.

Good afternoon and thank you for your question! We typically advise patients to stop using any hydroquinone or exfoliants about five to seven days before receiving a chemical peel.
