I'm 28 years old and consistently see a problem in my eyes. They always look sleepy and tired even when I'm fully rested and have had a full night sleep. Especially on nights when I'm drinking or the day after people would describe me as having a sad tired look when I don't feel like that way at all. Also, could the surgery change the shape of my eyelids to a flat even shape as opposed to being round?
Answer: Eyelid ptosis worse when tired or drunk See an oculoplastic surgeon for evaluation of eyelid ptosis and possible eyelid ptosis surgery. Eyelid ptosis refers to droopy upper eyelids, which are worse when someone is tired or drunk.

Answer: Botox & Filler Might Obviate The Need For Surgery Although you do appear to have some mild, bilateral ptosis, both photos display a fairly prominent static tension to the muscles of your forehead and glabella regions, both of which serve to detract from the overall appearance of the upper two thirds of your face. Tear troughs under the eyes are also evident in the rightmost photo . Before leaping to aggressive, invasive surgery, you might consider having some Botox injected into the forehead muscle and also to the muscles in the glabella region between your eyes. The effect of this alone might be enough to improve the overall appearance of the periorbital region. Additionally, a small amount of filler, such as Belotero Balance, placed in the tear troughs below the eyes to elevate them and smooth them might make a substantive additional improvement. Both treatments together should not take an experienced injector more than only a few minutes to perform.Best of luck to you.

Answer: Eyelid surgery for a young man Thank you for asking this very good question. It looks like you might have bilateral ptosis, although I cannot be sure by the photos you provided which appear to show you looking slightly down, instead of straight ahead. Ptosis can be seen in any age group. If you do have this, it would account for your symptoms and could be fixed by an oculofacial plastic surgeon. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Good luck!

Answer: Tired looking eyes Thank you for sharing your question. It seems that you have ptosis (droopy eyelids), which can be surgically elevated and hollowing of the lower eyelids. Restylane can improve the lower lids. See an experienced Oculoplastic Surgeon for in-person evaluation and guidance.Good luck,
