I have noticed when I bend over, walk or move my breast it feels like a slushy movement inside. I can't hear anything but I can feel it. Almost like I have air or water and it wants to come out. they are only 10 weeks old so I thought this was odd. I called the Dr but she said give it a few more days. I don't feel like this is normal. And they have no bursing or swelling. They are Silicon as well!
Answer: Breast implant sensation I appreciate your question. It takes a while to get used to the feeling of having an implant in your body.It will move around a bit (especially if smooth) which is an odd sensation. The best way to assess and give true advice would an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.best of luck!Dr Schwartz

CONTACT NOW Answer: Air pockets/water feeling in breast Although there is a little bit of air in any operative site immediately after surgery, one would not expected there 10 weeks postoperatively. A good exam by your surgeon may be necessary to determine the sensation that you are having. If you have gel-filled implants one would not expect a sloshing feeling. If one has saline filled implants, if for some reason a lot of air was left in the implant, one can hear a sloshing sound. It is important for the surgeon one placing saline implants to remove the air.

Answer: Fluid in the breast Many surgeons rinse the breast pocket out with antibiotic solution before placing the implant. This fluid takes time to be absorb by the body. Although 10 weeks is a bit longer than usual. At times the body creates fluid as a reaction to the implant. Follow up closely with your surgeon.

Answer: Air/ water Most surgeons rinse the breast pockets with saline and antibiotic solutions before placing the implants inside. It does take some time for your body to absorb all the fluid. Sometimes the body makes fluid around the implants initially as well. This usually goes away as you are healing. Do let your surgeon check you, however, just to make sure everything is healing well.

Answer: Breast augmentation At my initial consultation with my patients we discussed all the aspects of healing. One part of healing is a feeling of a space or air around the implant. It can be many things and you speak with your plastic surgeon but many times it will subside with time.
