Yes. In general, saline can give you an approximation of the results that a hyaluronic acid filler such as Voluma would create. However, the physical properties of water and hyaluronic acid are very different and so the results will be just an approximation. Further, a major component of the cost of filler treatment is the physician's time. While saline is cheap your physician injector's time is not. Therefore, this might be a very expensive option of achieving a brief glimpse of what fillers can achieve. Injection of saline to the desired area of fullness can give you a rough idea of what a filler might look like, but because their consistencies are so different, it would be an imperfect test method. However, if you are hesitant to just go ahead and try a filler (most are of course temporary as well), it might be a reasonable option. I've attached a web reference about fillers. Good luck,.
Yes this can work to simulate the results you can obtain from fillers. However, it is not as natural looking and isn't a good representation in my opinion. I suggest going to a facial contouring expert for filler injections and the results will be natural/ I suggest getting an HA filler as it can be reversed if you do not like the results. Saline solution can be injected in the area that you would like to get fillers, and it can give you a close idea about what the results can be. There are many filler options and they have different indications and they may look different once they are injected.
This is a novel idea but you have to remember that the fillers are viscous solutions and their physical properties give the characteristic aesthetic outcomes that you see following injection. It is somewhat complicated to explain but every type of filler 'class' has optimal sites of treatment - some are used for the lips, others lip only and tear troughs for their biophysical properties and Tyndall effect and so on ... Your idea is a good one but unfortunately is not practical and will not likely give you proper feedback as to what it will look like.
No, actually filling the cheek improves the appearance of the lower eyelid. The eyelid won't look enlingated and tired
Dear Michel2015Getting injectables over existing implants can be done. It is reasonably safe. However, make sure the doctor injecting knows you have an implant and what material the implant is made of. Any injection in the area of an existing implant increases the risk of implant infection. Some...
Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
