What can I do to fix my sunken cheeks from TMJ and weight loss?

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Unfortunately without photos it is difficult to be specific. Fat grafting is nice way to approach such issues. But without a physical examination / an in person face to face evaluation, it is hard to be specific. Find a local Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who does a lot of these.I always like using a patients own tissue when possible, and we do a lot of grafting,  over injection temporary fillers.Good LuckStephen M. Juvederm Voluma is a great way to correct sunken cheeks. However, it must be injected properly by an experienced physician who understands the area and how to inject it properly. When there is hollowness under the cheeks, one syringe is almost never adequate. In fact, one syringe is almost never adequate. The cheek and lateral face are divided into separate areas. The area under the cheeks where hollowness generally occurs is known as the V-4 area. Voluma is injected on the bone in the V1-3 areas, but into the subcutaneous tissue in the V-4 area since there is no underlying bone in this area.

It is very hard to give you advice without seeing you  or seeing photos of you.  Volume loss is not uncommon and can be addressed with temporary fillers and/or cheek implants.  Please post or e-mail photos for more complete suggestions.
