Which cheek filler is best for 21 yo female? (Photo)

Question

Hi, I'm considering getting cheek injections for fuller cheeks. I've had lip injections previously and am pleased with the results. I'm petite and have an especially thin face, I would even say it's gaunt. I would just like fuller cheeks for a healthier, more youthful look. I'm scared of cheek implants and would like to start with fillers, but I don't know which filler would be best for me. Any advice would me much appreciated.

Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Juvederm Voluma is the only FDA-approved filler for cheek enhancement. It would be a good start for you. Make sure you choose an experienced injector who can determine how much you will need to give you the best results. The good thing about Voluma is that it is a Hyaluronic Acid filler and can be reversed with Hyaluronidase in the event that you are not happy with the results. Hope this helps answer your question.

I think that a little bit of fillers would enhance your facial shape. My top picks would be Perlane, Voluma or Radiesse. You would do well with any of these and the decision might come down to cost and to what your doctor is most comfortable using. I would choose a doctor that uses all of the fillers. That will give you the most options.

this cheek filler is good for the mid face and it alsos  would probably improve your appearance of your cheek bones.This is another hyaluronic acid filler,that may prove to have more longevity

Based on your photos, I think you would do great with Voluma.  It would enhance your midface and also make your lower eyelids look better.  I've been very happy with my Voluma results and so have my patients.  It's pricey but it last two years.
