After infini microneedling, do I need to avoid sun just like the lasers? Or am I ok to go out in the sun after infini?
Answer: Not as important as with lasers We generally instruct patients to avoid direct sun exposure for at least 3 days post-treatment. After this they should use a high quality, broad spectrum sunscreen when out in the sun. Because Infini uses insulated microneedles that deliver radiofrequency energy directly to the deeper layers of the skin, the risk of hyperpigmentation is much less than with laser resurfacing. However, the microneedles themselves do still cause some trauma to the superficial epidermal layers, so sun avoidance in the early recovery period is a good idea.

Answer: Infini and sun; Englewood cliffs nj As with any procedure that disrupts the epidermal barrier, we do not recommend sun exposure until the skin has completely healed and has resurfaced. This is especially true if you have darker skin.

Answer: Microneedling results and Sun Exposure--Add prp and lasers While sun exposure is never a good idea for your skin, it will not cause additional harm to the skin after a microneedling treatment. I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol about sun exposure and after care after a microneedling treatment. Sun protection is essential. Infini is a popular treatment, but I prefer Intensif because the needle are non-insulated and it gives more robust results. I also always combine microneedling with prp and lasers for best outcomes. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Agree with Dr Rapaport - no sun for 3-4 days Agree with Dr Rapaport. Avoid the sun for at least 4 days, especially in Ethnic skin. If the PD and energy level are high and treatment is superficial (pores), then PIH can occur. Stay safe, Dr Davin S. Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
