I had a tummy tuck 3 months ago. As you can see in the picture my belly button is nowhere near the midline where it should be.My belly button is crooked it's to much to the right. I talked to my surgeon and told him my concern he said that all he had to do is cut a bigger incision to make it look right? I don't understand what he meant or what can be done to correct a belly button to place it in the middle. Is it something that can be done I. Office or is it under anesthesia?

Answer: Revision of umbilical stock after abdominoplasty can usually be done under local anesthesia.
I agree with my colleague, but the other consideration is that narcotic pain medicine can easily result in constipation. In addition to drinking plenty of water, you need to make sure that you are back to a regular bowel regimen. I suggest checking in with your surgeon for his or her guidance....
Its best to follow up in person with your surgeon for his advice and treatment. This isn't unusual and is easily taken care of. Good luck, Dean Vistnes
Thank you for your question. Judging from your pictures, you have a very nice result from your tummy tuck. It is normal to have some flexibility to the skin. The rock hard result following surgery would be due to some post-operative swelling.
