Is it safe to have a mastopexy and tummy tuck if I have FND (functional neurological disorder)?

I believe if you had 3 recent seizures it is not in your best interest to proceed with your surgery at this time. It is possible your surgeon will not want you to be on other meds around the time of surgery - so it would be difficult to stop your needed seizure meds. It sounds like it is in your best interest to hold off until things are confirmed under control.

Your safety is first. I would not recommend such an operation with an unstable seizure disorder.
Perhaps you need a more thorough neurological evaluation.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You might need to get a clearance from your doctor. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Your safety is always the number one priority in surgery. Because of your medical history you will require more extensive precautions in case complications occur. I encourage you to discuss your timing with your surgeon who is most familiar with your medical history and surgical plan.

In your case this combination surgery MUST be done as 1 night inpatient at hospital operating setting with preop approval of on staff neurologist & cardiologist at the hospital. Expect fees in the $35,000 ranges when all is said and done.

If your seizure disorder is not controlled at the time of surgery, there is concern that an uncontrolled tonic-clonic seizure may interfere with the procedure itself and uncontrolled movements may result in disruption of suture lines in the postoperative period.
In view of your recent seizures, it would be wise to again discuss potential problems with your neurologist. Make sure he / she is aware of your recent seizure activity.
