Right side bump and a drooping/hook of the tip - is this worth the risk of surgery? (Photos)

Question

I love my nose from the front and from the left side. But from the right, you notice a bump and a drooping/hook of the tip. Is this a challenging fix? Is it worth getting a rhinoplasty? I'm fearful of coming out of surgery have more issues with my nose than I began with. I'd like to stay under $10k if p, but don't want to sacrifice expertise and quality of work

The nose is pretty good. You have a mild hump. You should do rhinoplasty only if you feel the nasal bridge should be lower like a gentle ski jump. Otherwise leave it alone.

The photos show a subtle dorsal convexity and downward tip relationship that appear more noticeable in the right oblique view, while the frontal and left views look balanced. The images are taken at different distances and angles, so the true contribution of dorsal asymmetry, septal deviation, tip cartilage position, and lighting cannot be separated. A conservative rhinoplasty may smooth a localized dorsal prominence and strengthen or modestly rotate the tip. If the nasal bones or septum are asymmetric, limited rasping alone may not create a straight result, and changing one view inevitably affects the others. Risks include a new contour irregularity, persistent asymmetry, unwanted tip change, breathing problems, or a result you like less from the views you currently enjoy. Because the concern is angle-specific and relatively subtle, the margin for improvement is narrow. Standardized imaging should demonstrate exactly what would change in all views before surgery. If you proceed, prioritize a surgeon with consistent healed results in conservative primary rhinoplasty; fees vary by region and complexity, but lowering cost should not come at the expense of appropriate training, facility safety, or follow-up. Observation is also reasonable if the right-side issue does not justify those tradeoffs.

Maneuvers for your surgery would include dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, tip elevation, among other maneuvers. Based on what we see, you appear to have an indentation along your right nasal sidewall, and that concavity is the reason why you see the appearance of the bump more on that side. Additionally, you also appear to have a long nasal appearance and they droopy tip. Rhinoplasty may lead to a straighter nasal appearance, along with a tip lift, and hump removal, for a less distracting and more feminine nasal appearance. Maneuvers to correct your conditions are common. You have a decreased nasal columella angle that is less than 90 degrees and it should be 110 degrees. Your tip also needs to be refined and the dorsum needs to be straightened with the hump removed. You are an excellent candidate for an open rhinoplasty with possible septoplasty and the cost is $8,000.
