Right side bump and a drooping/hook of the tip - is this worth the risk of surgery? (Photos)

Question

I love my nose from the front and from the left side. But from the right, you notice a bump and a drooping/hook of the tip. Is this a challenging fix? Is it worth getting a rhinoplasty? I'm fearful of coming out of surgery have more issues with my nose than I began with. I'd like to stay under $10k if p, but don't want to sacrifice expertise and quality of work

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, tip elevation, among other maneuvers. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Based on what we see, you appear to have an indentation along your right nasal sidewall, and that concavity is the reason why you see the appearance of the bump more on that side. Additionally, you also appear to have a long nasal appearance and they droopy tip. Rhinoplasty may lead to a straighter nasal appearance, along with a tip lift, and hump removal, for a less distracting and more feminine nasal appearance. Maneuvers to correct your conditions are common. In that regard, please consider meeting with a reputable rhinoplasty specialist with a large gallery of before and after photos that you find favorable, along with a litany of favorable online consumer reviews. You have a decreased nasal columella angle that is less than 90 degrees and it should be 110 degrees. Your tip also needs to be refined and the dorsum needs to be straightened with the hump removed. You are an excellent candidate for an open rhinoplasty with possible septoplasty and the cost is $8,000.

The nose is pretty good. You have a mild hump. You should do rhinoplasty only if you feel the nasal bridge should be lower like a gentle ski jump. Otherwise leave it alone.
