Masculine Profile Balancing:Straight Bridge vs. Reshaped Hump? (Photos)
Hello, I’m seeking an expert aesthetic analysis for a primary rhinoplasty. I prefer a masculine, "striking" look over a generic result. While I appreciate the character a dorsal hump can provide, I notice a significant asymmetry between my profiles (Right side feels more balanced than the Left). Note on Photos: These images are NOT retouched, but they were taken under optimal conditions (good lighting, clean hair, specific angles). In person or under different angles, the nasal structure often feels less harmonious. I want to ensure the surgical plan accounts for this reality, not just "good photos." My specific questions: Dorsal Management: Based on my facial features (strong jawline/forehead), would a full reduction to a straight bridge or a conservative "let-down" approach better preserve my masculine edge? Tip Projection & Definition: My left profile (Pics 3 & 4) feels less defined. Should I focus on tip refinement to balance the asymmetry, or is the issue related to my septal structure? Simulation Feedback: I’ve attached two simulations (6 & 7). Simulation 1 keeps a slight masculine curve, while 2 is straighter. Which approach harmonizes best with my profile proportions? Profileplasty: Does my chin projection play a role in how my nose is perceived, or should the focus remain strictly on the nasal structure? Thank you for your expertise!
