From your photos, you do not appear to have gynecomastia. You do not have feminine volume of the breasts or puffiness behind the nipples.
Thanks for submitting your questions and photos! Just based on the photos provided, you may have mild gynecomastia, particularly moreso on the left side. This is a bit difficult to fully diagnose based on photos alone. I highly recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon for an evaluation. Your surgeon will be able to come up with a treatment plan that will work best for you. Good luck and thanks again for reaching out!
Hi, thanks for your question and photos. By the pics, it's not possible to give a conclusive answer. You can have mild gynecomastia or fat deposits. The only way to ensure this is by a physical exam. Consult a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area for the correct diagnosis. Good luck!
Hi,Thanks for your question. I would say this posture (raised hands) is not ideal to show your chest for possibility of gynecomastia and you should try sharing pictures with both your hands down so the actual anatomy is visible. In this posture, it doesn't look like you have gynecomastia but if you are concerned about nipple size (puffiness or large size) then you may want to consider an in-person examination with a board certified plastic surgeon or may be send more pictures or video to get glandular tissue removed and nipple size corrected without any scars. See, there is no sign that can detemine one person has gynecomastia because gynecomastia is not an illness, all men have some glands and tissue, some have less and other have more. Some men are ok with it while others want to correct it. It is all up to a patient's personal choice. I hope you get my point. Best Wishes.
There’s no definitive criteria for defining who has gynecomastia and who doesn’t. In your case, I think most providers would agree that you do not have any signs of obvious gynecomastia. The male chest will have a very different appearance with a Arms in a down position compared to when your arms are extended over your head. Extending your arms towards the soft tissues on display and is an excellent way to assess Excess of glandular tissue. There may be some fullness that appears in your chest when you put your arms in a down position, which is the accumulation of skin redundancy, allowing for the range of motion of your shoulder joints. With age we lose skin, elasticity and skin redundancy typically increases, causing men to get fullness in their chest with age. This does not mean they develop gynecomastia.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
Hello, With those photographs, it's difficult to tell. The best advice is to have someone photograph you with your arms down.
