How tight is my binder suppose to be after Tummy tuck? I was just told "as long as you can breathe" but I'm feeling that that will still leave me a lot of room to tighten up maybe unsafely tight? I mean... I can technically "still breathe"

Answer: How tight should binder be? Hi Lucy,I prefer that the binder is on firmly to support your abdomen and give you gentle/moderate compression. In my opinion the binder is more useful for support during ambulation rather than reducing swelling significantly. Have a good recovery.

Answer: How tight should binder be? Thank you for your question. You should discuss this with your surgeon. I think that compression garments should provide solid support and be restrictive without being uncomfortable. But your surgeon may have a different opinion.Good luck!
