Hello darling,Ive done those procedures done in one round for a lot of patients. Lipo combined with BBL and TT and Breast lift with augmentation with no complications. But if you want to make them separately. Lipo + BBL + TT first, then Breast lift and augmentation 6 months later, to let your body recover and get to its normal function.Make sure you make an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon.Best of lucks.Dr. Luis Mejia.
I perform the lipo/TT and BBL in combination for many of my patients. However, if they prefer staging the procedures, I always recommend the lipo and BBL first, followed by the TT three to six months later so that the result will be as tight as possible.A TT can create a flat abdomen and would also provide the benefit of placing your incision along the lower pubic region; it also creates a more youthful belly button.Consult via email, Skype, or in-office with a board certified PS who has great reviews from the hundreds of TT/lipo/BBL procedures he/she has performed
You should wait about six months to allow the blood supply to normalize and allow yourself to recover. Some would attempt to perform all these procedures at once, however the risk of complications (namely a blood clot) is too high and the recovery is too difficult for most patients.Consult with a few plastic surgeons in person for a more detailed exam and review of your medical history.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
Thank you for your question and photos. You do not give information about height and weight to figure out your BMI. It's best to have a BMI of 30 or less for such extensive surgery. If you were my patient, I would do two surgeries one week apart. This way you would recover at the same time. I view total body rejuvenation in three dimensions and a tummy tuck is part of that process. You have too much fat on the abdomen to do a tummy tuck without extensive liposuction first (upper and lower abdomen, pubic area, anterior and lateral rib cage). With a one stage procedure, the surgeon has to compromise on how much liposuction can be done over the abdomen. Stage 1: VASER Liposuction 360 degrees of the torso, BBL and arm liposuction. Stage 2: one week later, tummy tuck and a breast lift. Based on your photos, 6-8 liters of fat can be removed to give you an hourglass figure with 1.5-2 liters placed back into the buttocks.See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.
Dear Ione916,you should be fully healed before you can get another surgery. Most plastic surgeons will recommend you to wait at least 6 months between abdominal liposuction and tummy tuck. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Hello dear! Thanks for the pictures and provided information as well.Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for liposuction with a BBL, a tummy tuck, to give you a nice tight tummy and to get rid of the extra skin, and I think you'll get very good results. Also a breast lift is in order, in a separate session, six months apart, due to recovery and the time under anesthesia. Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your waist, back and flanks, and of course your buttock, to give you a beautiful heart shape, along with the tummy tuck.In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
If you want, it’s possible and safe to treat the breast and tummy at the same time as your BBL. Certainly you can split them up but doing them all at one time means only one recovery. Best of luck.
You can do these as a single procedure or as two separate procedures. If you choose to do them as separate procedures some plastic surgeons would argue that it’s better to do the tummy tuck first while others would say it’s better to do with the BBL first. In those people who do not have a shortage of fat(that includes you) I steered towards recommending the tummy tuck firstIn regards to doing the BBL exclusively I do not recommend liposuction of just your back and arms. If you’re going to treat your back then you need to treat your waist in the front of your abdomen as well.I typically refer to this as a “full torso“.A full torso technically includes upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles, waist, back and under arm area. You need to treat all of these areas in order to maintain a natural smooth thin fat distribution. If going from BBL to tummy tuck I recommend waiting a minimum of six months. If going from tummy tuck to BBL you can go a little sooner but I would recommend no sooner than three months.Personally I think the overall outcome is better if you do them as separate procedures. When doing the BBL before the tummy tuck the liposuction on the front of the abdomen will create scar tissue that makes the skin and fat layer slightly less pliable or less stretchy. this is one of the main reasons why we ask patients to wait a long time. The scar tissue takes a long time to mature and this is typically about six months. Some plastic but the surgeons recommend doing these as combined procedures. From what I’ve seen it looks like the Liposuction is done a little light handedly or not sufficiently enough when these are done as combined procedures. In my practice I also do liposuction with or without a fat transfer with patient awake using local anesthesia. This gives me a big advantage in the ability to get better results by contouring people appropriately. It can also be done with general anesthesia.Keeping patients awake allows me to have the patient move and whole different positions throughout the procedure which greatly enhances my ability to contour their body during the Liposuction part of the procedure.I would not recommend or do a tummy tuck with patients awake. Your best option is to have numerous in person consultations with plastic surgeons in your area. Each one or recommend with the recommendations are based on their own experience and preferences. There are different ways to approach this and the advantages and this advantages will vary based on each person’s opinion My practice is devoted exclusively to Liposuction and fat transfer procedures. I specialize exclusively in these two procedures and refer patients for tummy tucks to my colleagues who do them on a more regular basis.By specializing only on liposuction and fat transfer I have gained an enormous amount of experience and skill for these specific procedures.Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
Thank you for your question. Post op bruising can be caused by a multitude of reasons liposuction technique, post op care, and the patients skin. Normally with aggressive liposuction a patient can expect bruising and swelling. We are causing a controlled trauma and it's the body's natural...
