Dry, flaky skin after rhinoplasty?

I had a rhinoplasty about 2 weeks ago. The skin on tip and the sides of my nose are flaky and dry. I have used several moisturizers but nothing has helped so far. I have been washing my face with lukewarm water, gently with a wet washcloth but the tip of my nose is very sensitive. Any advice? I want to wear makeup, but everything seems to be clinging onto the dry skin patches on my nose, making everything look worse than it is.

Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity.In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months.To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Hi Loresmith, You are still healing, apply a hypoallergenic moisturizer wait 10 minutes apply again then you may apply your makeup. Do not use anything with Retin A or Hydroquinone creams since they tend to dry out the skin. Stay hydrated this will rejuvenate your skin and flush out any toxins.
