Steroid injections in columella?

It has been 11 almost 12 months since my rhinoplasty. My columella is still swollen, hard and stiff. Is it possible to get steroid injections in this area, or must I wait for it to heal on its own?

Your nose is not going to change in size or shape with manipulation - rubbing, pulling etc is not going to make a difference. It sounds like you are unhappy with your nose, an consultation with a plastic surgeon would be a helpful thing to do !

Hi and thanks for your question and photos.  I do see asymmetry and poor definition in your nose.  You would benefit from a rhinoplasty.  I charge $7500 for a rhinoplasty and the surgicenter fee is $1630.  I do offer a $500 discount for students which you appear to be with your Penn State swea...

In order to evaluate most accurately- an in person exam is essential as well as all views of the nose. Based on the photo that you have provided- a complete Rhinoplasty through a closed technique - in the right hands- will help you achieve a more feminine and elegant nose.

Your request would not be covered by insurance as, while it would change your nasal profile, it would not change the fact that sunshine still hits your nasal dorsum and can lead to all those issues you mentioned.  To minimize sun damage to your nose, try Zinc oxide, it's a fantastic sunblock.
