I used to have a V-shape chin before sliding genioplasty. After surgery my chin was made too short & square with a deep mentolabial sulcus. Can I get filler to get my chin to what it used to be? My lip is also asymmetrical, can that too be fixed with filler? Please I would like to know my options! Thank you!

Answer: Non-surgical chin augmentation Hi,It is possible to add vertical length to the chin with dermal filler. Also, adding filler directly into the mentolabial fold can soften it up. I recommend visiting with an injection specialist for a more comprehensive discussion of your aesthetic goals.Best,Mehdi Sina, MD

Answer: Improving the chin with fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm), sculptra, implants, fat Yes, the chin and your lips can be improved with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. This will allow you to try on the look before committing to a permanent option like fat or implants. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
