How is cast, stitch, and splint removal after a rhinoplasty?

I get my cast removed tomorrow exactly 1 week after my surgery and although I've seen some videos I don't know what to expect. I have stitches on the incision between my nostrils and then 2 splints inside my nose. Will they hurt to get removed? If so, what type of pain is it?

Dear maylin.isabella, You can view any of the over hundred videos on my profile page which are all taken on day seven for splint removal to see the varying reactions of patients. This generally is a very happy moment with minimal to no discomfort. I personally do not use splints however these should be easily and comfortably removed by your surgeon. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
