Is Livedo Reticularis Permanent after liposuction?

I did a tummy liposuction 2 years ago and I have these veins visible in all my tummy and waist ever since then. I’ve tried creams and massages and red light but it won’t go away. My doctor told my it should disappear after 3 years but I’m scared he’s not saying the truth and it could be permanent. In your experience what could I expect? Has this happened to you before? It’s invisible when I wake up or lay down, once I stand up and do activities, it starts to show and gets worse if I’m cold. Thank you!
