I’m considering getting laser assisted lipo on my love handles / flanks. Am I a good candidate for that? I’m 6 foot 1 inch 165 pounds male.

Yes, you are certainly a good candidate for liposuction, though the laser part doesn't really make a difference.  You may end up with some loose skin in that area, so a skin tightening device like Renuvion or Bodytite may help minimize that risk.

Yes, you are a good candidate for liposuction (laser or tradition, everything depending on surgon skill). However, please keep in mind that focusing solely on the love handles may not give you the results you're hoping for. This is because you have a significant volume in the upper back (bra line, rib, and back) and waist areas. If we only perform liposuction on the flanks, the fat from the upper part may sag more due to the lack of lower fat support. Visually, this could result in a bulky, triangular appearance.
My recommendation is to consider a full back side liposuction (bra, back, waist, rib, flanks) or you may wish to reconsider liposuction altogether for now.
