Does Fraxel stimulate hair growth?

I am planning on doing Fraxel Treatment for my Acne scars. I do laser hair removal on my cheeks every 4 weeks and I was wondering if Fraxel stimulates hair growth and would cause my facial hair to become worse? Please if someone could let me know. Thanks, Caroline R

Fraxel doesnt hurt hair or cause hair to grow.  There is nothing to worry about with Fraxel treatment with regards to hair.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Hi, and thanks for your question.Although some hair restoration
treatments use laser energy to help regrow hair, they don't operate in the same
way or at the same wavelengths as the Fraxel laser. Therefore, Fraxel neither impedes
nor encourages hair growth. Hope this cleared things up!
